Chip Freund Photography is excited to join the lineup of fabulous coastal artists and musicians at Rock The Cape 2021.

2021 Rock the Cape Festival

Rock The Cape will return to Hatteras Island on Wednesday, June 2 for a full day of art and music at Kitty Hawk Kites' Waves Village Watersports Resort in Rodanthe.

​The family-friendly, free event will start with an artisan market and conclude with a concert.

Art Show + Concert Details

The Rock The Cape Island Art Show will begin at 12pm on the lawn at Kitty Hawk Kites’ Rodanthe location.

Live music will begin at 2pm with Hatteras Island musician Rory Kelleher playing at the art show.

Starting at 5pm Hatteras musicians Izzy Pop, Mary Joy McDaniel, and The Mumz will kick off a sunset concert on the deck at Good Winds Restaurant. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and beach chairs to enjoy the free live music.

Making their Hatteras Island debut, Stereo in Words will close out the evening with original music that is heavily influenced by the alternative college rock of their youth.
